How did this happen?

There I was, minding my own business, then next thing I looked up and I was a Tiger Cub Den Leader. Um, huh? I think way back in my youth I was a girl scout for all of one week. Of course if I really sit down to think about it I realize that I probably have more training then most, having grown up with two brothers and wanting to do everything they did. I have no problem whatsoever digging up my own worms and baiting my own hook, I used to throw leftover fish guts to the pelicans after my Uncle gutted the fish (he was a commercial fisherman) and I did jump off the top of the gazebo into the pond when I was a kid (note to self: If we ever put a gazebo next to our pond, NEVER tell T.J. I did that). So, I suppose it was a natural progression, this segway into Tiger Den Leader. So here I am, planning den meetings, doing hikes, making crafts and trying to corral wild little boys each week. And I happen to think that "my boys" are the darn tootin'-est darn cutin'-est little Tiger Scouts this side of the Mississippi! Oh yes, and did I mention being a soccer mom? But I suppose that's my next post!
